Аннотация: This article analyzes the history of relations between Russia and Turkey, the main stages of the development of bilateral relations, and identifies key factors for the convergence of the positions of the two states on topical issues of international relations. The significance of Russia and Turkey for Kazakhstan which has become a crucial factor in the involvement of Kazakhstani crisis settlement process has been examined in the study. The purpose of the study is to examine the policy of the official Nur-Sultan in de-escalating relations between Moscow and Ankara. The role of Kazakhstan which was impossible without implementing the geopolitical initiatives of Russia and Turkey also has been analyzed in the article.

Аннотация: Понятие "чума" регулярно встречается в исторических источниках. Первое упоминание о "чуме", о которой повествует Фукидид, относится к афинскому периоду (430 г. до н.э.). Эпидемия унесла много жертв, самым известным из которых был Перикл, и разразилась около 431 года во время войны со Спартой. Согласно греческому историку (2.49, 2): “Первыми симптомами были сильный жар в голове, покраснение и воспаление глаз; затем горло и язык начали кровоточить изнутри, а дыхание приобрело неестественно неприятный запах”. (Хаммонд, 2009, с. 97. См. также Хорнблауэр, 1996, с. 322). Теперь мы знаем, что это была не чума, а скорее экзантемный тиф, вызванный бактерией Rickettsia Prowazekii.
