Аннотация: This research analyzes the impact of inquiry-based learning method on the development of students' critical thinking. A pedagogical experiment was conducted among 9th grade students, during which Watson- Glaser critical thinking test was used to assess the level of critical thinking, including the inquiry-based learning method used in chemistry lessons. After analyzing the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of this methodology in chemistry lessons has a positive impact on the development of students’ critical thinking
