Аннотация: The article presents experiments on obtaining composite fibers based on Shubarkol coal tar (CT) and polycarlonitrile (PAN) by electrospinning in a laboratory setup. As a result of energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and SEM microscopy, the elemental composition (C-85.83%) and the diameter of the carbon fiber were determined, which ranged from 89.0 nm to 449.8 nm. The resulting CNF was subjected to oxidation in air at 300 °C, the holding time was 1 hour, after which the carbonization process was carried out at 800 °C, followed by cooling to room temperature.

Аннотация: In the course of continuation of scientific research in the development of Kazakhstani technology for the production of trimanganese tetraoxide pigment, there have been proposed new methods of analysis which make it possible to investigate new nanostructural materials sourced from local deposits. The results obtained are of practical importance and serve as the foundation for developing new technologically advanced domestic production of a competitive product that is in demand both on the national and international markets. The available methods are not able to highlight the particularity and diversity of Kazakhstani manganese ores due to the uneven distribution of manganese minerals and host (waste) rock, the quantitative ratio of rock-forming components and their variation instability. Methods of energy-dispersive analysis of manganese ores from Kazakhstani Zhaksylyk and Bogach deposits have been put forward, electronic micrographs, spectrograms of samples, diagrams of normalized distribution of elements on the surface of samples have been obtained and a comparative analysis with raw analogue samples of some foreign manufacturers has been performed.

Аннотация: As a result of studies it was found that the peloids of the deposit of Tuzkol Lake (Republic of Kazakhstan) are high quality medium-sulfide, weakly alkaline sludge muds. It was found that peloid-derived humic acid contains 49.63 % oxygen, 22.37% carbon, 9.65 % silicon and 6.26% calcium; it also contains Na, Mg, Al, Fe and an insignificant amount of S, Cl, K, F. Electron microscopy and IR spectroscopy analysis of the molecular structure of humic substances of peloids indicated that their macromolecule consists of framework olefinic and aromatic fragments with a substantial proportion of unoxidized aliphatic groups, as well as aromatic structures containing carboxyl groups. The findings of amperometric detection of the antioxidant properties of humic acids suggest that they have antioxidant activity, which will make it possible to use them as a biologically active substance for medicines.

Аннотация: the problem of rational utilization of natural and associated petroleum gases and the cessation of their flaring is one of the acute and unresolved environmental problems. The aim of this work is to develop effective thermally stable catalysts ofa new generation for the processes of oxidative conversion of light alkanes of natural and associated gas into synthesis gas. The results of partial oxidation of the methane of natural gas on the catalysts prepared by solution combustion synthesis are presented. Investigation of the activity of catalysts produced from initial mixture of Ni(NO3)2-Al(NO3)3-Mg(NO3)2-Mn(NO3)2+ urea of different composition was carried out for the production of synthesis-gas. It was found that the optimal conditions for producing of synthesis-gas are: CH4conversion higher than 95%, yield of target products: Н2-97 -99% and СО -40 -43%, Т = 900оС, space velocity –2500 and 6500 h-1. The catalysts were studied by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, specific surface area, pore volume and average pore diameter. The presence in the catalysts of simple and mixed oxides, metal aluminates and spinel-type structures, the presence of which contributes to the active work of catalysts for oxidativeconversion of CH4, has been established.
